Summer Vegetable Worship Dinner! July 9th!

If there's ever a season that screams "chef-as-artist" it HAS to be the Summer!  This is one of the times where we're given a full spectrum on our flavor and color palates.  And oh what simple joys we get from full baskets of produce straight from the market.  It's the intoxicating aroma you get from smelling a sun-warmed tomato stem that transports you back to humid, bumble bee dodging in dad's back yard garden.  It's slightly acidic and overly verdant and entirely unique.  You'll find it in no other place and it only lasts for a short time.  I don't care how many tomato stems you snort in January, you'll never get it.
So here we are, on the first day of July, eleven days into "official" summer and we are going to be taking yins to vegetable church next Saturday.  An all vegetable menu!

MENU: July 9th, 2011
